When plans for a weekend getaway hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends finds themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, bloodthirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, they turn on one another as tensions mount and long-buried secrets are revealed. But when the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival.

Daywalker’s 2 cents:

I’ve watched this creature flick several times and it has it all…Jump scares, drama, action, etc.  Its a very high quality B movie with decent acting, good character development, and good cinematography. Most of the movie takes place at night, in the woods, so watch it in the dark for full affect. Please don’t overthink it because it doesn’t quite explain it all, but it does deliver the goods. Like most movies it takes a while to get to the good stuff, but well worth the wait! The first 20 minutes is character development, which it does very well, and the rest is “edge of your seat” panic in the dark! This one is definitely on my re-watchable and recommended list.
