Sent to New Orleans to care for an aging stroke victim (John Hurt) who lies bedridden and speechless in a rambling antebellum mansion, 25-year-old hospice worker Caroline (Kate Hudson) discovers a key that unlocks ancient secrets. Alone in the house with no company aside from the man’s unfriendly wife (Gena Rowlands), Caroline eventually comes across a hidden room. This was recommended to me after I was stating how much I loved Angel Heart. Love this. Absolutely MUST be watched twice, with the second viewing you realize that every single line of the dialogue was leading up to the twist ending. Every single line. Very well done.

I've seen this movie several years ago and it was great then and was great this time around. The twist at the end is unexpected , the story very well written and beautifully acted. The only thing I didn't like is that is was a bit long, they could have done it an hour and a half. But overall, a 10/10 for free movie.
