I loved this movie so much as a kid😂
I had to check to be sure because the DVD i have of this movie says it was made in 1999, but YouTube has it down for 2015, either way it's a pretty good movie that I'll pull out maybe every other year to watch, just noticed the HD picture here is a lot better than the DVD
every one in this movie better start stocking up on toilet paper, and right quick. ; D
It's 2024, and this is great movie but I wonder if another sequel can happen???????

I and My (now) wife, rented this from a large chain book/music/video store. We kept it an extra week figuring we'd watch it a time or 2 more and just pay the late fee. When we went back to return it the store had closed permanently, so it was ours. I can't tell you how many times we watched this film! It also became a favorite of our niece and nephew as well!
Reading comments to see if I should watch. Mark Wahlberg is usually a good watch but I value others comments as well.

I really enjoy how at 1:05:50 lightning is flashing almost constantly, but the thunder disappears politely so that the scientist guy (Bob Gunton) can quietly deliver his creepy dialogue!
Not bad for a 'B' movie. Bring something to drink or smoke and it's OK.
And the realistic ending: the cop lights the flare while standing chest-deep in bat guano. Boom. End of movie. 💥
